Planning and Estimating Manager 

Are you ready to really make a difference? Site Welding Services is looking for an impact player to join their management team as a Planning and Estimating Manager. This position is responsible for planning and estimating customer projects, analyzing customer supplied documentation, developing bid proposals and receiving customer approvals to start work. The Planning and Estimating Manager position receives only general guidance and supervision and works independently with broad discretion in committing company resources and planning financially critical projects. 

This key management position requires 2 years of Planning and Estimating experience with medium complexity structural steel projects (4 years preferable), plus an additional 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a construction or trades organization. 

Qualified applicants will have college level or advanced trade school coursework in Business Administration, Construction Management, Estimating or a combination of required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Successful practical experience in similar companies may be substituted for education on a 2 for 1 basis. A strong working knowledge of Windows based computer systems is essential; experience with Fabtrol software is considered a strong plus!

Lead Railing Specialist

Have you “topped out” at your current job? Do you need room to grow, where you can push your career to the next level? Site Welding Services is looking for a senior Railing Specialist with leadership capabilities and organizational skills that can easily switch between leading a team of employees and leading by example with outstanding fabrication skills. This person must be able to mentor and train junior employees and must have excellent team building skills.

The ideal candidate will possess five years of architectural railing fabrication experience in both a production environment as well as installation experience at field job sites. Candidates with additional experience as a Fitter/Welder will be given preference.

This position requires excellent blueprint and documentation interpretation skills with the ability to plan, organize and execute small to medium sized projects. Good interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication skills are necessary to facilitate this person’s growth into a management position in the future. Knowledge of Windows based computer systems is considered a plus!

Fitter/Welder I

We’re looking for a senior Fitter/Welder who knows the difference between workmanship and craftsmanship! Site Welding Services needs an experienced Fitter/Welder with a solid background and experience with production steel fabrication and site installation. The ideal candidate will have 5 years in the welding industry with a minimum of 3 year of experience as a Fitter/Welder. Candidates must have solid blueprint and documentation interpretation skills and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Fitter/Welder II

Site Welding Services is looking for an experienced Fitter/Welder to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of steel fabrication experience; field installation experience is considered a plus. Candidates must have solid blueprint and documentation interpretation skills and a stable work history.
